BattleForge: Stratego!

Just a quick head’s up if you haven’t heard — BattleForge, EA’s RTS/collectible card game/MMO has gone into open beta, with launch a mere few weeks away.  There’s a couple of incentives for pre-ordering, including exclusive cards and a Warhammer Online item, if you’re also playing WAR (like, hey, me!).

I’m going to give the beta a try this week, and if I like what I see, I have no problems preordering.  I’m a severe sucker for CCGs, even though I’m also a cheapskate.  It’s nice to know that you can win cards in game without having to spend any additional money — although I’m sure that ponying up dough will open up better cards faster.
