Champions Online: Beta Key Now, Plz!
Every time I read anything about Champions, even just a little snippet, it makes me crave a good, solid closed beta key. I don’t understand how some players get keys for pretty much every game they check out, and then there are schmoes like myself who are left out in the cold, looking in through the storefront window, tapping the glass pathetically.

I’m one of those “gets-a-key-for-every-beta” guys you lament. Trust me, it’s not always such a great thing. You hardly ever have time to play a released game because you are hopping from one beta to the next. Not worth it.

You are a prominent blogger, and your work with the Warhammer team should make them eager to have you on board Champions. Have you considered contacting their CM and asking?
I may have an extra from Comic Con, lemme see if I can dig it up. I Schmoozed the dev (female) to get a pair :p
You are right, they are really trying hard. The problem is that I do not like the superhero scenario at all, so it is really a pity. It is one of if not the most promising MMO at the moment.

Yeah, I kind of know that there’s a bad side with betas… but it doesn’t help with the impatience!

I know! The only time I’ve ever gotten into a beta is by buying a pre-order, and by then, it’s pretty much launch time. They say patience is a virtue…but aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
I don’t know what it is, but I’m really looking forward to Champions and could not care less about DCUO.
Can’t wait for it either.
I doubt you remember me from waaay back in the wordpress days of WAAAGH! but as my interest in WAR waned and then fell off, so too did my interest in your WAR only blog. but now that you’ve opened things up…you’ve regained a reader! Good luck and hurray!

I’ve been playing City of Heroes since beta and I didn’t receive a key :[ I’d do just about anything for a key.

I completely understand, I’ve got a buddy who has the beta, and I’ve got the chance to play twice on his, it’s just amazing. I have FIERCE desire for a beta key of my very own.

I have been trying forever to get a key and was on of the first to sign up for Champions when the website went active. I told everyone I knew on CoH which believe me after 4 yrs on and off i knew alot of people and some of them got keys and i even signed up for that downloadable magazine and never got my key if anyone has an extra PLEASE think of me. lady-lilith_la_magra@hotmail.com
