I’ll admit that even such stalwart individuals such as myself are prone to envy at times, and this whole Syncaine/Tobold conflict has made me realize that I am lacking something in my life that they have found: an arch-nemesis.
I was at a loss! Why must everyone keep approaching me with hugs and compliments, when sometimes I want knives and complex booby traps? Where is the person plotting my downfall, the evil genius who will go to any length to build a six-story tall robot just to chase me down main street when I least suspect it? Who has the guts, the chutzpah, the nerves of steel to look my prose right in the eye and say “Not GOOD enough, mister! You, sir, fail!”
I started calling random placement agencies to see if they could hook me up with an appropriate-level nemesis, but all I would get was either “Hunterlol” from the WoW forums or Ron Paul. So I turned to that 140-character savior of the modern world, Twitter, and expressed my lament. Happily, someone stepped up to the plate and agreed to arch me for the indefinite future.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Bio Break’s arch-nemesis:

I am one of the few that actually enjoys the SynCaine vs Tobold drama.
One day it might click with Tobold that if he actually posts SynCaines comments on his blog he will refrain from making whole blog posts…..
I say someone makes some ‘Team Tobold’ or ‘Team Syncaine’ That we can display on our blogs.
Err, Friday is the traditional day to announce blog war… I may side with Tipa for this reason.
Oh synCaine has replied again btw so update/add the link…. someone needs to map out this epic battle of the blogs!!!

Looking for arch-nemesis smacks at being conceited and ‘looking for someone your level’ certainly gives pause as to what you believe to be your level. To truly be a worthy opponent one just doesn’t look for one like fresh fish at a market they are earned. Through honest opinionated prose ‘shells’ and fact backed ‘bombs’ that will truly bring out the best in a rival.
I have not always agreed with all your posts but have always approached the level of quality behind it and the effort it must take to post, this on the other hand not so much. I will not pretend to be on any level close to you or your supposedly arch-nemesis but one must choose a side in any conflict. Fence sitting just will not do so without ado, Long Live TIPA.

Indeed, you blog war amateurs really need to stick to Fridays for now, don’t jump straight into the deep end. Also stick to a one-post minimum at first, just to pace yourselves and your readers. Good luck, may the emo rage be with you!

I hope I am not butting in here but as someone who enjoys your blog and who also enjoys Tipa’s blog I would like to ask you to try to get over this. Sure you have very different opinions and I know that Tipa can be a tad too forceful in expressing herself on occasion (Ok I admit it she seriously needs to cut down on those cuss words) but I really think think if you just both just try to see the other bloggers point of view you would realise that you have a lot in common.
That spat over Hello Kitty online was pretty unseemly. I think you both said things you will regret but I believe there is hope for a reconciliation. Perhaps your shared love of the game could become the nugget upon which the two of you can build a new found friendship.
This blog war SUCKS! You can’t have a war when everyone’s on the same side! You ALL fail miserably at BlogWarring.

Just wanted to add that I am totally on “Team Syp”. But your war with Tipa is getting completely out of hand. And now it’s spilling over onto other blogs with Syncaine here stirring up trouble.
Seriously people get a life! It’s just a dumb game! It’s not like we’re talking about Vanguard here, which everyone know was the greatest game of all time.
I will have to side w/ Syp and Bio break on this war, not only because I think ‘Bio Break’ is better written then ‘West Karana’; but because Syp is a brother in the Lord!
FYI, I read both blogs and will be enjoying the comradely of all this and the new births of another “arch-nemesis” team, of Stillwater vs. Pitrelli.

Team Tipa is totally zerging Syp and co, and on his own blog no less. This is not a war, its a slaughter, and all without Tipa firing off a single shot. /embarrassed
