I would have likened it to an endless summer vacation.
And this is exactly fitting. I remember reading a quote from Tolkien about how hobbits are eternally childlike, and that’s what’s so important about them.
This is true. But then if the Shire is kindergarten, I suspect Lothlorien is a massive catering service, taking advantage of players for cheap labour.
We get to:
* Pick and deliver flowers * Pick grapes and make wine * Light lanterns for a party * Help make pies * Make sure the elves don’t get too drunk
Good to know! I haven’t been to Lorien yet, but my character is from there. What you said will help with roleplay, believe it or not.
