Recommendations

I wish the thousands of factions and villages I’ve helped in the past would forward a letter of recommendation to the ones I’ve yet to visit.  That… would be swell.

“This guy? He’s solid. He’s got nothing to prove. Knock off the kill 10 boars crap and just open up your treasury to him.”

  2. Actually, in Dunland this is mentioned by Trum Dreng’s chief. The only reason they let us in/give us quests is because there’s word from the clan up north. I guess these Dunlendings are even more wary/xenophobic, perhaps given their proximity to Nan Curunir/Rohan.

That’s my explanation anyway. At least it’s not like gaining faction for two groups that are essentially the SAME group (Iron Garrison Dwarves), this time Dunlendings/Rohirrim don’t get along.

What would be REALLY nice is if we could transfer Men of Dunland Rep back to the Algraig/Grey Company (especially for alts with which we didnt grind rep in Enedwaith).

  3. It would have been nice if the dwarves in Moria had sent a note to the elves in Lorien. “This one is okay. Please don’t shoot her on sight.”

In Dunland, it went like this…
“You know, I’m kind of a big deal in Enedwaith.”
“That’s what everyone says. Carry these boxes for us.”

At least the rangers get stuck carrying stuff around too. The one who complains about shoveling manure made me giggle.

  4. @Sharon Ah, but you must remember, the dwarves have no real dealings with the Lorien elves. They don’t trust that elven witch in the woods. Gimli has all sorts of stories about her perilousness before he finally meets her himself.
