Dear Saint Nick,
First of all, what’s with you sending bloggers to do your dirty work? You too busy being the super-nice, super-generous North Polean to take some time to pressure us into writing to you? Fine. I see how it is.
What do I want for Christmas? What does this gamer wish for upon a bright and shiny star? If you don’t mind a few suggestions, I suppose I could be bothered with writing them down.
1. For contentment in the MMO community. There’s such a lack of contentment from gamers who have it better than any gamers have ever had it before. Loads of free MMOs, and so many more to choose from that there’s no argument that can be made for having to stick with cruddy ones. I would wish that, for once, we’d be grateful that we have such fun games to play and terrific people to hang out with online instead of whining because we’re spoiled and feel entitled to utter perfection.
2. The Star Wars: The Old Republic will ultimately exceed expectations instead of fail to meet them.
3. For 2012 to be a landmark year of excellent MMO releases, each with their own style and angle, but all (or at least, most) done well.
4. 10 more points in Guild Wars’ Hall of Monuments. Because I really don’t have the energy to grind them out, and what else is Santa doing for most of the year?
5. More time to actually be able to play games!
6. WildStar beta access. Sorry, but I gots to get me some of that, soon.
7. A new home office where my desk isn’t under constant assault by toddlers looking to grab wires and my action figures.
But really, I’ll be fine with whatever comes. I not only get to blog about games, write about games, but actually play them — and as a 35-year-old adult, that’s kind of a dream come true.

I think you left off World Peace. You should swap that in for #1 – keep it a little realistic, you know?
