Family meeting the other day:
Me: “So as you know, Guild Wars 2′s launch is…”
Wife: [Flips open her calendar -- seriously] “…August 28th. Got it right here.”
Me: “Yes, but the head start is on Saturday the 25th.” [Wife quirks her eyebrow and makes another calendar entry] “So I just wanted to give you a head’s up that I’ll be going to sleep early on the 24th and waking up for the head start at 3:00 a.m.”
Wife: “Please speak into the microphone, because this will come in handy at our future therapy sessions.”
Me: “So if you could keep the toddlers from jumping on my head while I’m trying to go to sleep before their bedtime, that would be smashing.”
Wife: “Uh huh.”
Me: “And now you’re going to go tell all your work friends about this, aren’t you?”
Wife: “Uh huh.”
Me: “If you can add a line of drool while doing your voice impersonation of me, I think that would sell it.”
In other news, on Twitter this morning we decided that Sandwiches of Rohan would be a better and more intriguing title than Riders of Rohan.

Man! I missed it, all wrapped up in the Gearbox debate.
I have sent this to my girlfriend, as it is a conversation we have already had (sans children part). Love it.
Haha, nice conversation!
For once us European players have an advantage and don’t have to be up at some insane time.
Headstart launch time is high noon Saturday here in Australia, apparently. Works for me!
Ahhh, thanks for that Syp. Gave me a good laugh
Welcome to the crazy hours us Aussies usually have to put up with. I’m not sure why ANet has decided to make early access right at the beginning of our prime time, but I’m not complaining. It’s quite the refreshing change
PS: @carson63000 I believe it’s actually 5pm Sat (AEST).
