Really wish I was at home to see it instead of at work hearing little tidbits about it.

Mostly I hope that the event is accessible to all, and that nobody misses out as long as they log in and try to play.

I’m assuming the raid is for level 50s? Will it still be around after the event ends? I’m only level 31, so I’d hate to miss out on content entirely.

Interesting. Does the date on phase 2 indicate the event will continue longer than previously reported? or were the previous reports only about phase 1?

This was an incredibly intelligent move on Trion’s part. They’ve clearly done there homework and have made plans as to how to avoid the fate their predecessors have faced.

    *Mental golf clap*

I played the alpha server while they tested this world event. so, I can give some info:

1- stage 1: all zones open death rifts (normally each zone open two diferent kinds of rifts, but now there are zones that open a third one); that death rifts can start a massive invasion like the other rifts; that rifts have level based at the zone level, so everyone, any level, can participate; there are new rifts, with new mobs and diferent strategy for the players win.

2- stage 2- there are a massive invasion at EACH zone and EACH zone is attacked by 1-3 bosses; the bosses have level based at zone level; the event completes when ALL bosses are killed; at alpha server the players made massive runs, full raid, diferent raids covereing all continent, for figth these bosses; that bosses will attack the cities and villages, so I found a boss at Meridiam gates and that village at Stonefield empty of NPCs because the boss killed everyone there; I think everyone will participate because any level you have and any zone you are, you will need fight for your life.

3- stage 3- need fight 6 bosses at top of Stilmoor cultist’s fortress, near the place where is the mob for the raid quest; this stage is for the level 50 and maybe 45+; prepare for die until you get to 0% vitality; there are specif ressurection platforms for who dies at this battle, so you do’nt need run all way back, but bosses will spawn adds that will attack you everyone, and eventually will attack everyone just ressurrected at the platforms; my advice for this fight: turn off the PvP, both sides will fight there agaisnt the same bosses and AOE attacks will make things worse because will flag you PvP; at the end of the event the new raid dungeon opens, but few survive to see end event.

So, don’t feel sorry if you cannot get to last stage. Stage 3 is pure masochism*. And you enter a dungeon for be wiped by the mobs inside…

Anyway, everyone, any level, can go to stage 3, but be preparated to die until you you drop to 0% vitality**.

    * and it was mad fun… 5-6 full raids (both defiant and guardian) crazy there fighting bosses, adds, and everyone being killed…

** take note that that place have level 50-52 elite mobs all over the fortress, so get there will be an adventure itself if you aren’t level 50 and if you are following a full raid (that will clear the path); however, who have problems with lag can be a good idea not go to stage 3, too much people at one small place at same time.
