    All SWTOR, all the time.

    Your poll is busted up. May be a site problem but all there are when I load that page are boxes without any text.

    Just noticed that the one here on your page is working. :/

    Just playing a ton of SWTOR.

    It amazes me that not many play Runes of Magic. It makes sense though with all the great free to play MMO’s now. With all those votes for LOTR, I might have to give it a try if I can pry myself away from SWTOR.

    Can’t drag myself away from EQ2 at the moment. A whole load of other MMOs I want to be playing but apparently not enough.

    @swtorSPEC: Runes of Magic is surely worth a look, it’s a polished game and I found it reasonably fun to play. But it does have one of the worst pay-to-win cash shops I’ve seen in any F2P game, almost as bad as Atlantica Online (another great game ruined by its business model).

    I’m mostly playing a space game that actually takes place in outer space: EVE Online.

    Again we leave Pirates of the Burning Sea out of the poll. Make including it one of your 2012 resolutions, Syp! That’s a long name for me to have to type into the Other box every month. I want you to type it into the list every month instead. 😉

    I checked off Star Wars: The Old Republic and “Unnamed MMO Betas” because I wasn’t sure if only playing the beta counted as playing SW:TOR this month.

    New for my list this month is Star Trek Online. Got a 10-day code from Alienware. I see why they waited a bit to put out a full list for f2p features; they had to wait and see what TOR had in it. :> I have to admit, being able to walk around the bridge and decks is kinda cool, even though I’m not a Trekkie at all. The space combat is made slightly odd due to the ST theme, and the way the weapons banks work in Star Trek. You get the best weapons coverage in my current little cruiser by flying at angles to your target, so that both your fore and aft phaser banks have an arc of fire on the target. I picked it up quickly after a couple of fights though.

    LOTRO, Pirates of the Burning Sea, and Star Trek Online are the only three I’ve played consistently this month.

    @Carson What would you say for favorite F2P game is based on Game quality and business model?

  11. SlothBear December 31, 2011 / 7:27 pm

    Not a single one! You should have that as an option! 🙂

    I have been hopelessly sucked into SWTOR. I am neglecting my EVE pals while I enjoy using the Force.

    @Snickeringcorpses,

    Clearly the broadside shall never be surpassed as a death dealing naval tactic 😛

    @Warsyde It’s actually sort of a….topside, in ST. I find I get the best phaser coverage, in my current ship at least, by flying on my side with the top of the craft facing the enemy. :>

    Although now I have the “Do a barrel roll!” meme stuck in my head after trying to describe that. Augh!
