NBI: Month Wrapup

This is it!  The final NBI link-love list that I’ll be putting out this month.  I promised NBI participants and interested onlookers that I’d be compiling all of the new (and newish/undiscovered) blogs that have emerged this month, as well as all of the terrific advice that seasoned bloggers gave.  Here we go!

New blogs to check out:

  1. That’s a lot of great links. In going to need to take vacation to read them all and set up new RSS feeds for the Newbies. Thanks for doing this Syp it is a great thing and build a great community.

  2. Holy geeze, Syp. That’s a HUGE list. Didn’t dawn on me how many people partciipated in the event. This is going to take me ages to go through, yikes! Perhaps split it into categories by game? ^^

  3. Thanks Syp for creating the initiative, all the sponsors for the amazing advices, and everyone for jumping in on this oportunity. It’s been a great experience, and I hope to see many of these blogs for a long, long time (including my own) 😀

  4. That’s quite a haul of blogs there Syp. I can’t claim to have visited them all (yet) but many of them put my humble efforts to shame. Well done to all participants.

  5. Kudos Syp. I reckon it’s a great effort bringing all this together to help the MMO blogging community. Cheers!

  6. I’ve been trying to keep track of all fellow newbies and did notice it was quite a job, but I didn’t realize there were *this* many! :O

I’ll be checking all links to be sure there’s nothing I missed. Thank you so much for this initiative, it’s been so much fun! I feel a bit more like a blogger instead of just a girl with a computer after this month. 🙂

  7. Although your giant unsorted list is making the OCD in my right eye twitch, it was an interesting experience. My blogroll is set to triple, and I hope you all keep on blogging for years to come. Next year, we’ll be looking at hundreds of new blogs if this progression stays on the same track. Kudos to everyone!

  8. You folks could of done better, piss poor job I’m thinking. I wanted a 1000 new blogs. As for myself I want to give myself a HUGE pat on the back…cause well I’m awesome.

Hey someone’s got to be the jerk, might as well be me. 🙂

  9. Thanks for organizing the whole shebang, Syp. It’s been a lot of fun. I don’t know about anyone else but I certainly learned a lot.

Going to reorganize and unify my blogroll this weekend and there will be some permanent additions from that massive list.

It has been a real blast and a real pleasure to of gained this new hobby. It has also been fun interacting with a lot of new people and their own unique perspectives and new ideas.

    Thanks!

  11. Awesome, Syp. Simply awesome. Thanks again for starting this. And hopefully next time, I’ll be on the “advice giving” side. 🙂

    You rock!

Well, it’s been a great run. I’ve been honored and humbled to participate in the Newbie Blogger Initiative, taking in the copious amounts of advice and experience being handed down from bloggers big and small. I’d like to think we all have a lot to learn from each other, whether veteran or newbie – at least, I have learned a lot at y’all’s feet the past several weeks.
Syp has the roundup information handled and summarized, so all I can add is: go forth and blog awesomely!

  13. I’m glad this was such a success. Getting new people with new ideas and perspectives into the community is great!

  14. I really appreciate the effort you put into this Syp. I only got around to one post and was mostly absentee due to work demands, but I think this was a great thing to do, and obviously showing returns with a bunch of new blogs. 🙂

    Like I needed more to read…. 😉

  15. Reblogged this on Not Too Heavy and commented:
Well, I am sure you won’t being hearing this first from me, literally everyone of my favourite blogs has this up on their front page… But if somehow you were living under a rock for the month of may and the first thing you did when you crawled out was somehow find Not Too Heavy, here is a list of all the bloggers that started in the NBI and all the advice articles that were posted:

  16. Just FYI: One of the advice links I tried checking out on in your great big list was typo’d.

–Just One MMOre: How to be consistent and make it painless and easy, One question high-traffic blogs ask

You’ve got those two links as justonemoar.com instead of justonemmore

    Hope that helps!
