Any thoughts on the balance of difficulty in Helm’s Deep Syp? I have been very surprised at how much more powerful my character feels with the new skills and traits. At first it was fun to be able to slaughter groups of monsters several levels above me but I worry that a lot has been lost by making players too powerful. I never get to use most of my Loremaster skills for example because they all have long inductions and my pet generally kills mobs before I get get more than one or two skills off.

I’m working on a first impressions piece for Massively in which I mention that. Yeah, it’s pretty noticeable.

Still a gorgeous game. I made it to the Dark Door yesterday and the game conveyed the atmosphere of dread perfectly. Of course, I tried to go in and was awarded with an instadeath. Guess I should have seen that coming.

At low levels the OP is ridiculous…My lv12 hunter went on a killing spree today…without a scratch!

I’m looking at these and sighing, but I make it a point to never get an xpac until I have at least one character who could go to said region. Still, these look awesome!
