Every so often I realize that there is a certain game I haven’t heard about in a while or have forgotten about, and then I have that flash of “oh yeahhh, I should stay up to date on that!” and do some quick research on what’s been going on with it. Usually, I’ll dig up a news story or two from it.
But I was getting tired of constantly forgetting which games I wanted to track, and so I began to make a list — primarily of upcoming online games and MMOs — and put it on the right-hand side of the site here with links to each of the games’ respective Twitter feeds for fast reference. This is mostly for me, but as the list started to grow, I thought that it might be worth sharing, if nothing else than to point out that there are a lot of titles in development and some odd little lesser-known ones worth keeping an eye on.
So here goes, 44 MMOs that I’m tracking. Note that I’m not equally interested in all of them, just that I want to keep tabs on them to see how they shape up between now and launch.

Is Cyberpunk 2077 a MMO?
I thought it was a single-player game with some multiplayer.
Thanks for that. It’s a really useful list. I’ve heard of almost every game on there and very few of them are of any real interest but it’s still nice to keep an eye on how things are coming along.
There are a handful of new ones, though. Caravan Stories doesn’t ring a bell and nor do Tale of Toast, Survived By or Global Adventures. Going to go check those out now.
I have played more than a few Sci Fi games but they never held me for long. Duel Universe looks interesting though.
Oh yeah Chronicles of Elyria looks interesting from what I have seen in an old school mmorpg kind of way although I can never remember the name. I think it used to be called Shards which was easier to remember.
Arghh I meant Legends of Aria … these names are getting really confusing.
Reblogged this on DDOCentral.
I was the person that named Dogma: Eternal Night, btw. My suggestion was voted the final name of the game on their forums by the community.
Not including BioWare’s Anthem? Or isnt it considered an MMO? I’m looking forward to that as Destiny didn’t really appeal to me and I am hoping BioWare gets a good story going.
Wow, most of them are meh. Waiting for Pantheon.
