I had a really fun month that saw a different way to play an old MMO and chewing through several new titles.
By far, World of Warcraft got the majority of my gaming time as I focused hard on gold generation. I made over a half-million gold, bought a few WoW tokens, and had a lot of fun in the process. I finished Argus on my Hunter and did the new post office questline as well.
Dungeons and Dragons Online saw an occasional spurt of play as I took in a quest here and there. I had some fun adventuring with friends and got to the cusp of level 10.
I think I may have only logged into Lord of the Rings Online twice this month, to my shame. I know I need to do more, but the motivation is not there at the present.
I got to experience and even complete several single-player games, such as What Remains of Edith Finch, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, and Tacoma. Think I gorged on adventure titles. I loved every minute of it.
I decided to to put Secret World Legends on hiatus until or unless Funcom releases new content to experience. I’m not going to tread water in that game otherwise.
I briefly dipped in to Champions Online and Global Adventures but didn’t find enough in either to keep me around.
I did make some progress in Knights of the Old Republic 2, believe it or not. I would estimate I’m about 3/4ths of the way through the game.
World of Warcraft: I have several quest lines that need finishing up on both of my main characters, so I need to carve out time for that. Otherwise, more gold chasing for me! I’d love to be able to pay for the expansion with just tokens, if that ends up being possible.
Dungeons and Dragons Online: Hitting level 10 is pretty much a given within the week, so once I’m done with House K, I’ll head over to the new expansion and see what’s what in Ravenloft.
Lord of the Rings Online: I probably could just cut and paste last month’s goals. Finishing the Bloody Gore main storyline is essential. Will Mordor be done then? That would be great.
Here’s a good goal: To finish and be done with KOTOR 2. Full steam ahead! I also have several single-player games in the queue, such as Railway Empire, to keep me occupied.
Several MMOs are starting to jockey for attention this spring with their launches and early access, such as Tale of Toast, Shroud of the Avatar, Closers, RIFT Prime, Project Gorgon, and Sea of Thieves. I’m keeping an eye of release dates for these games and figuring out how they’ll figure in to my gaming schedule.
