Sunday Serenade: RuneScape, Walk the Moon, Weezer, and Fresh Prince

Time for another Sunday morning dose of random songs that I’ve been listening to this past week! Welcome to Sunday Serenade — now let’s crank the jams up with…

“Where We Belong” by Vexento — I don’t ever pretend to be that deep or sophisticated in my musical taste. Sometimes I like happy, goofy, feel-good tunes like this one, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

“Violet’s First Adventure” from RuneScape — I don’t have enough words to say how underrated this soundtrack is. How terrific is this Christmas-themed track?

“One Foot” by Walk the Moon — New to me, at least. Love the energy this chorus and beat brings.

“Africa” by Weezer — Every cover of classic 80s songs are made better by the appearance of Weird Al. Fight me on this.

“The Valley” from Magicians & Looters — Never heard of this game or its soundtrack before, but dang it if it doesn’t turn into this amazing earworm! Now I’m going to have to see if the rest of the OST is this good.

“A Nightmare on My Street” by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince — Anyone remember back when Will Smith was singing about Nightmare on Elm Street? I love 80s rap, you can actually understand the lyrics. So weird.
