Sunday Serenade: Beetlejuice, Anna and the Apocalypse, and more!

Time for another Sunday morning dose of random songs that I’ve been listening to this past week! Welcome to Sunday Serenade — now let’s crank the jams up with…

“What I Know Now” from Beetlejuice the Musical — A ridiculously catchy dance theme about why killing yourself is dumb.

“The Merchant’s Guild” from Blade & Soul — A zany romp of a track that’s juuuuust the perfect length for this kind of energy.

“Best Day Ever” from Club Penguin — High-spirited inoffensive kid pop. Some days, that’s what I need.

“Be Happy” by Dixie D’Amelio — Can identify with this one. Sometimes when you’re sad, you just want to be sad for a bit, and that’s OK.

“Human Voice” from Anna and the Apocalypse — Only recently had time to sit down with this weird zombie Christmas musical… and I have to say, the music is pretty excellent. Very expressive.

“Swim” by DVBBS & Sondr — I like how this song keeps ramping up with beat and intensity.
