What I Did During My Lunch Break

My wife’s birthday is tomorrow, so I wanted to do a little something special for her.  She’s a huge Doctor Who fan, and after being inspired by someone else who did this, I snuck into her office during her lunch break and turned her cubicle into the TARDIS:

  1. LOL, that’s pretty stinking cool. GOod job :)

  2. Very nicely done. Now you will have to update with the reaction.

Ah she laughed and called me a goober, then said it was never, ever going to come down. Of course, all her office coworkers have no idea what Doctor Who is, so she’s had to keep explaining it…

  4. Remarkable. Well done.

  5. First you see the police box door and you think it’s kind of small and you wonder how anyone could get any work done in there, but then you see the cubicle itself and it’s soooo much bigger than it looks from the outside. It’s just like the real TARDIS! Great job!

That is probably one of the greatest gift ideas ever. Genius! She’s a lucky woman. :)

Reminds me of a frat prank pulled on our sorority one day, when we away to the sound of “Thus Sprach Zarathrusta” playing outside with a giant monolith on the patio, illuminated by a single spotlight.

Nice job – I am sure your wife was surprised!

It was Dee — great job! I wish I had had more time to put into it, but for about an hour and a half worth of work, I thought it came off ok.
